A thing thats been sitting on a shelf

This piece was cast a year ago. The first time that tried to remove the ceramic shell coating it broke in half...and I lost interest in it. Today I finally dug this out of the ceramic shell...the metal is too thin to weld, so I will have to come up with some other solution to finish it.
